Itinerary
Explore every day’s highlights of this floral journey with a structured plan covering
gradual altitude gains and vibrant natural beauty.
Day 0: Delhi to Haridwar/Rishikesh (230 km | 5 to 6 hours)
Let's hit the road with the Bighorn Team for an awesome overnight road
trip up the mountains from Delhi to Haridwar, building bonds and sharing
laughter along the way.

Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Govindghat (275 km travel | 8 to 9 Hours)
- Option to begin the journey directly from Haridwar/Rishikesh
- Travel Rishikesh to Govindghat - your base for upcoming treks
- Witness the Sacred 5 Pryags of Uttarakhand: Devprayag, Rudraprayag,
Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and Vishnuprayag
- Stop for meals (not included) at local dhabas en route
- Reach Govindghat by early evening and check in
- Explore village, meet local people, Visit Gurudwara.
- Overnight in Govindghat
Day 2:Trek to Ghangaria From Govindghat: 4 km (drive) + 10 km (trek) 8to (10
hours)
- Morning exercise and 4 km drive to Pulna
- Trek 10 km through dense forest, waterfalls, and vibrant flora
- Midway packed lunch and photo stops
- Visit Valley of Flowers Information Centre in Ghangaria
- Overnight stay in Ghangaria (Stargazing)
Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers Trek: 12 km (6 km one way) 6 hours
- Trek 6 km to Valley of Flowers (~11,811 ft)
- Walk through one of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes, where
wildflowers bloom against a backdrop of towering peaks
- Explore valley trails and alpine flora
- Return back 6 km trek to Ghangaria
- Trails Clean-up Drives
- Overnight in Ghangaria
Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib – The Sacred Trek to 14,200 ft
12 km (6 km ascent + 6 km descent) 8 hours
- Trek to 14,203 ft to reach the world’s highest Gurudwara
- Visit Gurudwara and Laxman Temple
- Langar meal and time by the glacial lake
- Return to Ghangaria
- Activities/Games
- Overnight stay in Ghangaria
Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat – Optional Visit to Badrinath & Temple
Trails: 10 km (trek) + 3 km (drive to Govindghat) + up to 50 km (optional
drive to Badrinath and back)
- Breakfast and 10 km descent trek to Pulna
- 3 km drive to Govindghat
- Optional 50 km round-trip drive to Badrinath and Narsingh Temple (if
time/weather permits)
- Overnight in Govindghat or Joshimath depending on route
Note: Visiting Badrinath Temple or Narsingh Temple is subject
to time availability, weather conditions, and road accessibility. If
the visit happens, overnight stay will be in Govindghat; otherwise,
the group will proceed to Joshimath for the night stay.
Day 6: Joshimath to Haridwar/Rishikesh – Back to Delhi (16 hours | 505 km )
Farewell to the mighty Himalayas as you journey back to home
- Scenic descent through mountain roads and villages
- Final chai breaks and reflection moments
- Drop at Haridwar/Rishikesh
- Continue to Delhi

Inclusion
- Accommodation: Stay at a guesthouse in Lohajung village and in alpine tents
during the trek (shared basis: 3–4 people per tent).
- Meals:All vegetarian meals from Day 1 dinner to Day 6 breakfast as per the
itinerary.
- Trekking Gear: Provision of tents, sleeping bags, mats, gaiters, and
microspikes for snow treks.
- Safety:Equipped with basic first aid kits, oxygen cylinders, and guides
trained in handling emergencies.
- Trek Leader:
Guidance from a certified trek leader (with Basic/Advanced Mountaineering Training).
- Transport:
Shared vehicle travel from Rishikesh to Rishikesh (start and end point).
- Permits:
All necessary forest permits, camping fees, and environmental charges included.
- Support Team:
Skilled local guides, cooks, and porters managing camp setup and logistics.
Exclusion
- Taxes: 5% GST extra on the total cost.
- Personal Purchases:Items like bottled water, extra snacks, and beverages
outside the provided meals.
- Insurance: Trekkers must arrange their own travel and medical insurance.
- Porter Charges:Fees for personal luggage carriage by porters are not
included.
- Medical Costs: In case of emergencies requiring evacuation (like
helicopter rescue), the cost must be borne by the trekker.
- Other Expenses:
Unforeseen costs due to weather delays, natural events, or activities not listed in
the itinerary.
Things To Carry
- Thermal Base Layers: Keeps body warm by retaining heat; choose wool or
synthetic materials.
- Insulated Jacket:: Down or synthetic jackets are essential to combat cold
temperatures.
- Waterproof Trekking Boots: Must be warm, waterproof, and suitable for snow.
- Woolen Socks: Carry 3–4 pairs; Merino wool is recommended for warmth and
comfort.
- Gloves:Insulated, windproof gloves are vital for hand protection in snow.
- Balaclava/Neck Gaiter:Shields face and neck from cold winds and keeps warmth
in.
- Rainproof Outerwear:Lightweight, waterproof jacket and pants to handle snow
or rain.
- Headlamp with Extra Batteries:Useful for low-light conditions; batteries
drain faster in cold.
- First Aid Kit: Include basics like antiseptic, painkillers, band-aids, and
any personal medication.
- Sun Protection:Sunglasses, SPF lip balm, and sunscreen are essential even in
winter sun.
- Personal Toiletries:Travel-friendly hygiene kit including towel, soap, wipes,
sanitizer, etc.
CONFIRMATION POLICY
- You'll receive a confirmation email with your trek voucher within 24 hours of
booking.
- If your preferred slot is unavailable, we’ll offer alternate dates and send a
revised confirmation.
- If the alternate schedule doesn't work for you, you can cancel the booking for a
full refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- More than 45 days before trek: 25% cancellation fee.
- 15–30 days before start: 50% cancellation fee.
- Within 15 days of trek start: No refund; 100% cancellation charges apply.
- In case of cancellations due to bad weather or government
restrictions, we’ll offer alternative arrangements, but no cash refunds will
be issued.
REFUND POLICY:
- If you opt for a refund, the amount will be returned to your original payment method
within 10–12 working days.
